FANSCAPE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
LOCATION:
LOS ANGELES, CA
DESCRIPTION
Fanscape is the premiere entertainment marketing agency in the land. We work with music artists like Taking Back Sunday, Franz Ferdinand, Ashlee Simpson, 311, Fall Out Boy, The Honorary Title and (much) more.  We have worked on films such at Wedding Crashers, Old School, and Donnie Darko.  We have marketed tours, including the Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos, and the Take Action Tour.  We work with other major clients like MTV, Fuse, MySpace, PureVolume, and MANY MORE!

Online Marketing As a marketing intern, you learn how to launch and manage an effective online marketing campaign, conduct and analyze useful marketing research, and work with record labels to develop artists on a grass-roots level. You will research, compile and present the preliminary demographic data used as the foundation of marketing campaigns.  Most research takes place via message boards, chat rooms, blogs, and website communities.  Account managers will help hone and develop your “marketing eye” by tutoring you and eventually delegating responsibility on creative design projects.  You will also assist with the creation of the final “Wrap” reports and provide feedback and suggestions for campaigns.

Business Development – This internship is a great opportunity for students who are seriously interested in working in the online marketing industry and also interested in the development of campaigns and the business itself.  Gain experience writing business proposals, pitching promotional ideas, and conducting consumer research. Improve your knowledge of marketing by participating in meetings, writing proposals, creating mock contest and web sites, and doing online research. Learn more about what it is like to work with major clients in the entertainment, gaming, cellular, and lifestyle industry. You will be part of the entire creative process of a marketing campaign from acquiring a major campaign, to conducting the campaign, to completing the final campaign report. You’ll be surrounded by some of the best in the entertainment and marketing industry.  Knowledge of Photoshop and PowerPoint is necessary.

Executive – You will work closely with Fanscape’s Industry Veterans and executive staff.  This is the ideal internship for Business majors looking to understand the in’s and out’s of running a successful company.  You are encouraged to design this internship to cater to your specific interests and needs.  Past Executive interns have had emphases in Accounting, Business Development, and Design.  Interested in getting firsthand exposure to clients, potential clients, and the future of the company?  This is the internship for you!

Online Promotions – The Online Promotions Department is responsible for developing online contests to promote artists and branding clients, build new partner relationships with top websites, work closely with music labels and their artists, implement online contests and sweepstakes, and create in-depth reporting and analyses.  You will work closely with the Online Promotions team and support them primarily with the implementation and reporting phases.  We will help you develop valuable professional skills, and you will also be exposed to the pitching and partnership development processes.  Also, your feedback regarding what sites you like will be highly valued.
